Business Listings: When you submit a business, we collect the business name, address, phone number, website, category, contact name, and contact email. This information is used to create and maintain your directory listing.
Verification Data: If you verify your business via email, we record your verification status (Vietnamese-owned, Vietnamese-speaking) and the date of verification.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage data such as page views and search queries to improve our service. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics at this time.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Display your business in our directory for community members to find
- Send verification emails to confirm business ownership
- Contact you about your listing (updates, issues, or removal requests)
- Improve our directory and user experience
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal contact information (email, contact name) with third parties. Business information that you submit for listing (name, address, phone, website) is displayed publicly in the directory.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) for data storage and Vercel for hosting, both of which employ encryption at rest and in transit.
5. Your Rights
You may request to:
- View the information we have about your business
- Update or correct your business listing
- Remove your business from our directory
- Delete your contact information from our records

6. Cookies
TimLocal does not currently use cookies or tracking technologies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and provide notice.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Vercel: Website hosting
- Supabase: Database storage
- Resend: Transactional email delivery
- Google Places API: Business data enrichment
Each of these services has their own privacy policies governing their handling of data.
